Atmospheric Chemistry
Our group combines world-class measurement science, in both laboratory and field, with theory and modelling.
Our distinctive strengths are in halogen chemistry, urban air pollution, atmospheric emissions, molecular composition of aerosols, atmospheric mechanisms, global ozone processes and measurement technologies.
We are housed in the Wolfson Atmospheric Chemistry Laboratories - a collaborative venture between the University and the National Centre for Atmospheric Sciences.
The Laboratories enable experimental and theoretical studies relating to the science of indoor, local and global air pollution, stratospheric ozone depletion and climate change.
