PhD and Masters funding at the 四虎影院
If you are intending to submit an application for any of the funding opportunities listed, you should first contact a member of staff in the Department to discuss your application.
For research degrees, this should be your prospective supervisor, while for taught programmes this should be the Chair of the Graduate School Board, George Tsoulas (george.tsoulas@york.ac.uk).
If you have not yet been allocated a research supervisor, you should complete the .
The application forms are detailed and require considerable time to prepare. Applicants for funding in all schemes must have applied for a PhD and/or Masters place at York, and should follow the University's postgraduate applications procedure.

China Scholarships Council Scholarship
We're pleased to offer up to ten joint-funded PhD scholarships in collaboration with the China Scholarships Council.
ONAOSI Foundation Scholarship
We're proud to offer limited National Opera for the Assistance of Italian Health Orphans scholarships for students entering a one-year taught or research Masters.
York Graduate Loyalty Discount
If you've previously studied at the 四虎影院, you could be eligible for a tuition fee discount for postgraduate taught courses.
Commonwealth Scholarship
The 四虎影院 is a host university for the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission. Various opportunities are available throughout the year. The majority of awards are funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
International Regional Scholarship
Our International Regional Scholarship is here to support international undergraduate and postgraduate students to help them excel.
John Monash Scholarship
The John Monash Scholarship provides yearly funding to outstanding postgraduate taught and research students from Australia.
Prime Minister鈥檚 Fellowship
The Governance Innovation Unit (GIU) at the Prime Minister鈥檚 Office in Bangladesh has been awarding Prime Minister Fellowships to government officials, university educators, and high-achieving individuals in higher education since 2018.
York Minster Choral Scholarships
York Minster offers choral scholarships lasting 12 months or longer to altos, tenors and basses who are undergraduate or postgraduate students.
Yorkshire Bach Choir
We are now accepting applications for our choral scholarship scheme for 2024/25. The 12-month scholarships will be open to all four voice parts.
